We have been experimenting with the new LEA-M8F GPSDO board for the USRP B200 to do a small SFN test. First, there was (ironically) no GPS reception inside the ITU building, and we had to do our experiments later in the evening.
The tests were not conclusive. While we managed to synchronise two transmitters, the behaviour was not always consistent. But discovering a bug is also a form of progress, and we hope to have a working SFN system soon.
We are very happy to have participated again at this year’s EBU RadioHack, and would like to thank the organisers the very nice event.
